April thoughts
Not much doing on the parking ticket front, but I went and did it nonetheless. Might as well show willing.
Excuse the paucity of posting, but I’m so worn down by railing at the stupidity of the world that I’ve decided to stop and think happy thoughts instead.
Oh yes, I'd like to welcome Real Policing, Johnno Hill's campaign against the insanity of bureacracy to the sidebar. Read his campaigning blog here.

The cherries are only just flowering up here. No pavement mush just yet...
Greetings Mr Parking Enforcer.
What a pleasant surprise to stumble across your blog.
I've always had a great respect for the diligence with which those of your profession pursue their duties and in 30 years of motoring have only had 5 parking tickets survive the appeals procedure (despite several dozen issued). Nevertheless I like to see your colleagues kept on their toes and make a point, if I spot one, in walking close behind and yelling YERCHA! as loud as possible at a range of a couple of inches from the back of his neck.
Look forward to our paths crossing...
Dear Gordon Browns Best Friend,
YERCHA? Could you not try something a bit more literary / original? As for acquiring several dozen tickets, don't you think that you might be missing the point here? The whole point is not to get parking tickets in the first place.
Our paths may have crossed already. Especially with regard to one or more of the five tickets you didn't get cancelled.
Regards
Bill
Hi Bill, not been round for a while (lots to do on our manor)but good to see that you're still posting. GB's best friend sounds a lovely chap, and he had to tell you. Chin up.
